Assassin's Creed Unity is an action-adventure video game published by Ubisoft. It is the eighth main installment in the Assassins Creed series and is a sequel to Assassins Creed Rogue, which was released on the same day as Unity for previous-generation consoles. The game also introduces cooperative multiplayer to the Assassin's Creed series, allowing up to four players to take part in narrative-driven missions and explore the open-world map. Assassin's Creed Unity received mixed reviews upon release. It was praised for its visuals, customization options, settings, and character development. Its narrative, gameplay, mission design, and multiplayer-centric format received more mixed reviews.
