Audiolens is a new analysis tool from software maker iZotope. The plugin creates a fingerprint of your songs, which you can then use as a reference file in Ozone 10 or Neutron 4.With Audiolens, you can find out all sorts of data about your favorite songs at the click of a button. It's not about the song title, the artist, or the basic sound of the piece of music. No, it's about the mixing and mastering details that tell you how your idols worked in the studio. In most cases, about eight seconds are enough for the program (here you should select the part of the song containing all the instruments and vocals), but after three and a half minutes, the "recording" stops.
There is no recording, only analysis. Loudness, equalization, dynamics and stereo width are analyzed. This way, you can quickly and easily create a technical fingerprint of your favorite songs. But: Audiolens requires Ozone 10 or Neutron 4. Only these two packages can import the data and then adjust the mix according to the scan using their own built-in tools.
