And when creating the perfect mix of effects, the Rack's global controls let you treat the entire Rack as a single plug-in. Lock percussive effects to a single beat, or let them run freely. Fine-tune the input and output levels, and use the global mix control to blend your effect with the dry signal. Then try the powerful new global rewind control. By blending the Rack's output with the input, you can create your own modulated reverb, overdub delays, and other unique ambient effects that require complex routing in most DAWs.

Choose from our carefully curated collection of presets to find the perfect starting point. Or quickly create, save, and retrieve combinations of your favorite Soundtoys effects, all in one integrated plugin.
No longer need a hardware dongle. Free yourself up to work wherever and however you like. With PC authorization, you free up critical USB ports for audio interfaces and MIDI controllers. Studio professionals can still use Soundtoys 5 with iLok USB keys to manage all their plugin licenses. All Soundtoys 5 plugins come with two activations. Use one in the studio, and the other on your home console or laptop. Open the effect modulation panel to access special circuit-level controls. Or design your own unique modulation patterns. Many Soundtoys effects offer dedicated modulation panels that reveal deeper editing features.
Here you'll find advanced plugin options, such as selecting saturation patterns, precise control over the effect's tempo, or a selection of different delay algorithms. Our modulation effects offer powerful shape and rhythm editors for creating complex movements. The Low Frequency Oscillator (LFO) is the core of every modulation effect—it's what gives tremolos, phasers, banners, and sweep filters their distinctive movement.
Our built-in library of LFO shapes goes beyond standard modulation effects, offering curves inspired by classic modulation effects, amplifiers, and musical instruments, as well as more abstract shapes. You can also draw and sculpt your own fully customized shapes using the Shape Editor. Use it to create new LFO shapes, from sharp waves to receding curves. Our rhythm editor is like a rhythm sequencer. Choose the length (in measures) and size of the steps you want to modify (sixteenth note, eighth note, quarter note, etc.), then start clicking to create a new pattern.
You can play and pause individual steps to create pauses or rests, and adjust the level and length of each step to humanize your pattern and add some musical variety. You can even choose the number of beats in each measure to create distinctive synchronicity or grooves with a strange time signature. And like our custom shapes, custom patterns can be swapped between plug-ins. And of course, you can set everything to the master rhythm of a Soundtoys effects rack or your favorite DAW for seamless and simple synchronization.
