Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater is a stealth action game set during the height of the Cold War. The protagonist is an operative with the call sign Naked Snake, a future legend. He is tasked with infiltrating the Soviet Union's jungles, in an area called Tselinoyarsk, to disrupt the development of a new top-secret weapon - a walker, a combat vehicle capable of launching nuclear missiles from any type of surface. The player will have to take part in a covert operation in hostile territory.
